Coffee Near You is an independent, ad-supported directory of Starbucks cafés across the United States and Canada. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Starbucks Corporation. All Starbucks names, logos, and marks are property of Starbucks Corporation.
What we do
We maintain an indexed catalogue of 12,000+ Starbucks locations with verified addresses, coordinates, opening hours, and amenity information (drive-through, Wi-Fi, mobile order, outdoor seating, outlet count, ambient noise level). Every store page includes directions, a map, nearby landmarks, and a pre-generated quick-answer summary.
Data sources
Store locations and metadata are sourced primarily from OpenStreetMap under the ODbL, supplemented by public business registries and our own verification checks. Read our data methodology for full detail.
How the directory is built
- 01Extract
Pull Starbucks records from the OpenStreetMap Overpass API using the
brand:wikidata=Q37158filter — 12,312 raw locations. - 02Normalize
Apply Jaccard similarity near-duplicate detection across (country, state, city) tuples and remove duplicates (5 removed in April 2026).
- 03Enrich
Reverse-geocode 2,067 stub addresses and cross-reference coordinate data against public business registries.
- 04Validate
Check 12,317 store records against coordinate bounds and feature-consistency rules before anything is published.
Store records reviewed and refreshed every 7 days via automated pipeline.

We cite only facts that are verifiable from source data or public records.
Page content is generated deterministically from structured data; prose is validated against a proper-noun allow-list to prevent hallucination.

Incorrect information can be reported via our contact page; we review and correct within 14 business days.
Ownership & funding
Coffee Near You is operated by an independent publisher and funded solely through display advertising via Google AdSense and Amazon Associates affiliate links. We do not accept sponsored content, paid placements, or pay-for-inclusion in our directory. Every Starbucks location appears because it exists in our public data source, not because it was paid for.
Diversity & ethics
We treat every store record equally regardless of corporate vs. licensed status, neighborhood demographics, or traffic volume. During the index-recovery review, synthetic outlet, noise, Wi-Fi and neighborhood-ranking signals are not used as evidence. Location records remain subject to the source and validation limits documented in our methodology.
